PLANTATION, Fla.—April 29, 2024—Northstar Financial Planners was proud to sponsor the “Beat the Pro” challenge at the We R.I.S.E. for Autism Golf Classic, which took place on April 26, 2024, at the Jacaranda Golf Club. The sponsorship underscored Northstar’s ongoing commitment to supporting autism awareness and empowering the autism community.
HDS Companies presented the golf tournament. The “Beat the Pro” event challenged participants to match or exceed the skills of a professional golfer by hitting a golf ball closer to the pin. This exciting feature provided an engaging experience for the golfers and helped raise funds for the HDS Foundation.
The HDS Foundation is a nonprofit that helps transform the lives of teens and young adults on the autism spectrum through programs that foster productive, meaningful, and independent lives, according to the foundation’s website. One hundred percent of donations go directly to programs, with HDS Companies supporting all administrative costs.
Northstar Financial Planners has a track record of backing initiatives that support autism awareness. Earlier this month, the firm both sponsored and participated in the fifth annual Autism Bike Ride hosted by the Dade County Association of Fire Fighters Charities.
Richard Lottier III, a Client Service Specialist at Northstar, was thrilled to join fellow players in the golf tournament.

The We R.I.S.E. for Autism Golf Classic gathered enthusiastic participants for a full 18-hole experience at the Jacaranda Golf Club in Plantation, starting with a lunch reception at the 19th Hole Grill & Lounge. The event concluded with an awards dinner and silent auction.
